I don’t have the contact details of everyone there at last nights gig in Wotton-Under-Edge, but know some of you went away with my cards, so hopefully you will see this here and know that it’s for you.
THANK YOU to all the folks in the audience who listened so attentively to all the acts and to those of you who were kind enough to express your enjoyment of my set afterwards. And thank you all of course for humming so mesmerically on cue
THANK YOU to all the other performers:
Mo-Jo (I’m sorry I can’t find your Face-Book page to “like” you!) you guys were really fun, and well practised!
Pete Taylor – accomplished and engaging as always, but how many pedals does one man need?!
Ben Maggs – Truly inspiring, highly deserving of that People’s Choice Award! and very nice to boot.
And THANK YOU to all the team at Under The Edge Arts for putting the night on, and for all their endeavours in bringing quality live music to the community. Voluntary organisations like this are crucial to the life and soul of every community, every artist and musician – and every artist and musician in the making. And they are largely dependent on the support and investment of others to continue to work and thrive. For more information about their services and events I recommend looking up: http://www.utea.org.uk/
See you all again soon, I hope!
