| Other Info | I will be playing in Bristol on Saturday 29th Sept at the Seven Stars, as part of Alfie Kingstons Acoustic Afternoon. Music kicks off from about 3pm. There's usually a handful of select performers and we all get a decent set. If you've not been there before, the venue is definitely worth a visit. It is Bristols oldest pub and what it lacks in floorspace it amply makes up for in charm, real ale (CAMRA pub of the year several times recently), whiskey and dedicated staff. It's free to get in. Stop by early to get a seat :) |

| Other Info | This is a national event that joins bandstands all over the UK at the same time on the same day in 4 hours of non-stop music reflecting the local community. I've had a hand in organising this event in Stroud, supported by an organisation called Superact and Stroud District Council. The locals performing will be community choir Stroudsong, John Kelly and The Tongs & THe Bones (celtic, balkan), Sickwave (youth band), Pete Taylor (singer-songwriter), The Peeky Blinders (bluegrass), Shadowlight (rock) and Steve Roberts & TBC (rock, blues). There's also a free access drumming workshop on the bandstand from 12 noon to 1pm. I will be performing in between sets to some extent to keep things interesting while groups set up etc. It's going to be an amazing event with something for everyone :) |
